1.1 Collection of personal information

1.2 Collection of non personal information
We also collect non personal information about your visit which may include your domain name, webpage or complete URL from which you entered our sites, your IP address & how much time you spend on our pages, application etc. In order to operate the Site and provide you with information on products and services that may be of interest to you, we may collect profile information (i.e. information that could be used to contact you such as full name, postal address, phone number and email address), financial information (e.g. passwords and credit card numbers), demographic information (e.g. zip code, hometown, gender and age).
1.3 Use of personal and non personal information

We also use your information to send you Service-related emails (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations and reminders, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). To operate the website including processing of your account, transactions, payments and other activities, we may share your personal information with our, agents, representatives, contractors and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as email origination, receipt or support services, customer relationship management services, and order fulfillment. 1.4 Facebook Users Data Policy
Users have the option to login and register for the service using the Facebook app.
1.4.1 What data are we processing from Facebook?
We request a unique user Facebook ID, Email Address, and Facebook Profile Photo from the Facebook app
1.4.2. How we process the data?
We request the data mentioned above (User ID, Email Address and Profile Photo) and process it through our servers and save it on our database
1.4.3 The purpose of the data?
The unique User ID is used to recognize the logged in user when they use the Facebook login option. Email Address is used as a unique identifier for the account and also used to send communications and important updates which are important for the usage of the service. The Facebook profile photo is used as profile photo on the service as it helps in identifying the user and create credibility
1.4.4 How users can request the deletion of data?
Users can send an email to support@hitchman.co to request deletion of their user data. Our support team will verify from the requesting user, check if any payments are due and if there are no pending payments, the data will be deleted. In case of due payments or other issues, the data will be deleted from the system once the issue is resolved.
1.5 Storage of information
We store your personal data and information in our database. We reserve a right to retain your personal data and information for indefinite period even after the termination of your account. This is done for security reasons and other future purposes.
1.6 Sharing your personal and other information
When you request or share carpool services through us, or when you use our referral based reward system, we must provide certain of your Personal Information with our agents, representatives, contractors, and service providers to enable the successful fulfillment of your carpool arrangements and other support services such as email, messaging or on-call assistance and other customer relationship management services.
However, we do not sell or rent individual customer names or other Personal Information to third parties except sharing of such information with our alliance partners or vendors who are engaged by us for providing various promotional and other benefits to our customers from time to time on basis their booking history with us.
We may share personal information with our other corporate entities and affiliates to help detect and prevent identity theft, fraud and other potentially illegal acts; correlate related or multiple accounts to prevent abuse of our services; and to facilitate joint or co-branded services that you request where such services are provided by more than one corporate entity. Those entities and affiliates may not market to you as a result of such sharing unless you explicitly opt-in.
We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to court orders, or other legal process.
We may disclose personal information to law enforcement offices, third party rights owners, or others in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy; respond to claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users or the general public.

When you access third party websites or use third party services, you accept that there are risks in doing so, and that Hitchman is not responsible for such risks. We currently use the third party services, and by using our Services, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms for such third party services.

Hitchman has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, accuracy, privacy policies, or practices of or opinions expressed in any third party websites or by any third party that you interact with through the Services. In addition, Scoop will not and cannot monitor, verify, censor or edit the content of any third party site or service. By using the Services, you release and hold us harmless from any and all liability arising from your use of any third party website or service.

You agree and acknowledge that in the very unlikely event of your credentials becoming known to a third party on account of an intrusion into HITCHMAN'S data base, HITCHMAN shall not be made liable for the resulting damages. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify the concerned official at HITCHMAN immediately.
